Rhea County High School was the host for the Southeast Tennessee Council on Children and Youth’s [SETCCY] Legislative Council Brunch on Friday and the topics covered centered on children with drug-addicted mothers.
At the conference, State Sen. Ken Yager gave a presentation on the Safe Harbor Act of 2013.
The act is a piece of legislation he championed that helps drug-addicted mothers keep their children if they followed a treatment program and stayed clean.
