Great South Professional Championship Wrestling comes to the National Guard Armory at 222 Manufacturers Road in Dayton on Saturday, Jan. 25, with bell time at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m. Matchups include: Mickey Gotti vs. Kayden Christopher; Rocky Top Rocker vs. Noah Richards; Spoony Mack vs. Barry Allen; Hollywood Eddie Adams vs. Cam Martinez. The big main event lumberjack tag team match will feature Robbie Lee Jordan and Platinum vs. Tate Fugate and Jeff Bowman. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for kids. Children 5-and-under are free. Dayton Youth Baseball [DYB] is holding a certification class for any persons interested in umpiring for the upcoming baseball season. The class will be held at the Jim Barnes Baseball Complex on Market Street in Dayton on Friday, Feb. 7, at 6 p.m. The class will take approximately one hour. DYB will also hold baseball signups every Saturday in February at the Jim Barnes Complex from 10 a.m. until noon. The cost for ages 8-and-under is $85 and the cost for ages 9-12 will be $70. Spring City baseball and softball signups will be held every Saturday in February, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Spring City Dixie Youth Fields on New Lake Road. The cost for 3-and-4-year-olds (T-Ball) is $45. The cost for baseball players up to 12-years-old is $65 and the cost for softball players up to 14-years-old is also $65. With your paid entry, you will receive 15 tickets you can sell for $2 apiece for a drawing the league will be having. You will keep the money and just turn in the name section of the ticket.
