LCHS 2012 Record: The Panthers posted a 9-3 record a year ago, losing 31-7 to Ooltewah in the second round of the playoffs.
LCHS Head Coach: Mike Zeller is in his sixth year as the Panthers’ head coach and has compiled a 28-38 record. Beginning in 2008, his first two years were merciless, going 3-17, but he has taken his teams to the playoffs four times in a row, including this season.
LCHS: The Panthers’ football program is on the upswing, especially with coach Zeller at the helm. Lenoir City may have recorded a 5-5 record this year and went 3-4 in its district, but the Panthers have tangled with District 4-AAA foes like Maryville, Farragut, Knox. West and Bearden, who is competitive year in and year out.
