The UT Vols’ win over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday, Oct. 19, meant a lot to fans across the state, nation and world, but to a few former Vols, who happen to be former Rhea County High School Eagles as well, the day could be labeled as perfect.
Out of the nine former Eagles that played for the Vols from the late 1970s to the mid 1990s, six were able to attend the Vols For Life [VFL] campaign facilitated by former Vol Antoine Davis and head coach Butch Jones.
