Rhea County High School [RCHS] cross-country runners Gloria Pascual and Bryson Bayles each had a course personal record [PR] as they qualified for the state meet at the Region 3-AAA meet held at Ft. Bluff Camp on Thursday.
Pascual is a senior and the trip to the state meet is familiar territory, as she has competed in it her entire career at RCHS, but Bayles, on the other hand, will make his debut as a freshman. For their efforts as top 10 finishers, Pascual and Bayles were named All-Region 3-AAA.
