Bragging rights and school pride were on the line as the 3-1 Rhea Middle School [RMS] Eagles clashed with the 4-0 Spring City Middle School [SCMS] Bulldogs in what some people have called the “county championship” in front over 1,000 fans on Thursday at Eagle Stadium. What looked to be the makings of an RMS rout early, after Logan Hall rumbled 52 yards for a touchdown run on the second play of the game for the Eagles, turned into a thriller that went down to the wire late in the game, with the Bulldogs edging the Eagles 26-22.
