Teacher gets judicial diversion after inappropriate contact with female student

A former Rhea County High School teacher accused of having inappropriate contact with a student was charged, arrested and was granted judicial diversion on Friday. Robert Capps, a former science teacher and football coach, resigned in August amid an investigation into inappropriate contact he allegedly had with a student, according to local school officials.
