Tennessee First Lady Crissy Haslam visited the area on Friday and said reading skills in young children are critical to economic development and the future of the state.
Haslam visited both Rhea Central Elementary and the Clyde W. Roddy Library in Dayton,on Thursday and read to schoolchildren.
