A lawsuit filed in Rhea County Chancery Court claims that
long-time local attorney Arnold Fitzgerald was part of an Internet scam that bilked an 84-year-old
man out of between $400,000 and $500,000.
The suit claims Fitzgerald scammed George Lambert,
84, of Bradley County, Tenn., by convincing him to invest money in a scheme that promised a $150
million payoff after Lambert provided some upfront costs.
