The Dayton City Council met in a called session to discuss issues with the city’s electrical system, but discussion brought up the fact that with only one line that brings power into the city, a break in that line could potentially leave the city without power for days, according to city officials.
The meeting was to discuss any matters related to batteries and transformers at the electric department substation, but a question from Council Member Bobby Doss inquiring if it was true that only one line fed the city with electricity.
