After a one and a half hour thunderstorm delay, the Rhea County High School golf teams forged ahead with their matches with District 6-AAA foe Stone Memorial on Monday at the Dayton Golf and Country Club.
The Eagles battled with some of their best scores of the young season, but came up short on a playoff hole, while the Lady Eagles claimed the win by default because the Lady Panthers only had one player, and by rule, teams must have two players for the scores to count.
