By a more than 2-1 margin, former Dayton City School Director of Schools Richard Fisher topped Jimmy Ewton for a vacant seat on the Dayton City Council in Wednesday’s election.
Fisher claimed the seat with a 358-128 margin. The seat was vacated when former council member and current Dayton Mayor Gary Louallen won the mayoral race in April.
