The Spring City edition of the American Youth Soccer Organization [AYSO] will hold signups on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Spring City Presbyterian Church on Jackson Street.
Youth from ages 4-16 are welcomed to signup in person or retrieve online application at eayso.org
and bring two completed copies of the application to the church or drop off before Saturday at Avery’s Barbershop in Spring City, south of Subway.

Tryouts for the Rhea County High School girls’ tennis team will be held within a few weeks after school starts. Exact dates and details will be announced later.
All incoming freshmen that wish to play football for the Rhea County High School freshmen football team will have practices, beginning on Monday, July 15, from 5:30-8 p.m.

The Dayton Little Eagles will have sign ups for the upcoming season at Rhea Central Elementary School on Saturday, July 20, and Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Dayton Little Eagles will also host a free football clinic the next two weeks at Rhea Central Elementary School on Mondays and Thursdays from 6-730 p.m. for kids age 4 to 12.

The Spring City Middle School [SCMS] football workouts will continue starting Monday, July 8, from 6 to 7:30 pm.
The workouts will be held at the football field of SCMS. The workouts will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Players are reminded to bring shorts, t-shirt and both tennis shoes and cleats.
Due to the TSSAA changing the regulations and the starting date of practices for the 2013 season, practice will begin now on July 22. Players will all need to have a physical before they are allowed to practice.

Guest green fee with a cart is $15, with a $5 prize/expense fee and $1 closest to the pin fee. Bring your favorite dish or pay $5 to eat. Please advise if you plan on bringing a dish and if you are planning to eat or not.
Teams to be arranged by management, couples may play together and kids can play with parents. Try not to make a whole team from family, as the idea is to meet and play with different people.
You don’t have to be a golfer (few of us are), just have a great day enjoying the game and companionship.
