The Dayton 12-year-old All-Star baseball team has successfully earned a spot in the final four at the Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven, Miss., at Snowden Grove Park.
In their first game on Saturday, the Dayton group jumped on the Belle Chasse, La., All-Stars in the first half inning. After 53 minutes, three pitchers, 19 runs, scoring 17 runs with two outs, Dayton had the commanding lead and never looked back, winning 23-0 in three innings.
