The Spring City Middle School [SCMS] football workouts will
continue starting Monday, July 8, from 6 to 7:30 pm.
The workouts will be held at the
football field of SCMS. The workouts will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Players are
reminded to bring shorts, t-shirt and both tennis shoes and cleats.
Due to the TSSAA changing
the regulations and the starting date of practices for the 2013 season, practice will begin now on
July 22. Players will all need to have a physical before they are allowed to practice.
Prospective players can pick physical forms up at the school office or can print one off the
TSSAA web site. New workout and practice schedules will be available on July 8 in the office or at

Eagle Football Golf Tournament on Wednesday, July 17, at the Dayton Golf and Country Club, with
registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. and tee-off at 1 p.m.

will present prizes to the first, second and third-place finishers, along with door prizes and goody
bags and prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

The Rhea County Fellowship of
Christian Athletes (FCA) will host its annual camp at Rhea County High School from Monday, July 15,
through Thursday, July 18, and will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 5-9 p.m
The cost is $40 per camper, which includes a t-shirt for the week and lunch
daily. Campers will compete in various sports such as touch football, volleyball, basketball,
baseball, and soccer. Campers will also participate in daily devotions and praise and worship time.

Family YMCA is holding swim lesson sessions this summer at Fort Bluff Camp.
There are four
sessions in the morning from 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Thursday each week and four
