As we get ready to celebrate our Nation’s Birthday, I want to
share a new book with you, with a giant “Thank You” to all the men and women who serve our
country in so many ways both at home and abroad, and then I have some really “cool” dessert

I have just spent quite a bit of time with an exciting new book that held
my interest from cover to cover! Granted, I enjoy reading a cookbook just as I would enjoy
reading a novel, but this book held my interest from cover to cover because each page is loaded with
a wealth of information. And to put the proverbial icing on the cake, the book is also
lavishly illustrated throughout. The book itself is the result of information gleaned from museums
around the country and personal interviews.
