Immanuel Presbyterian Chapel (7/7) — Immanuel Presbyterian Chapel will hold a special worship service on Sunday, July 7, at 3:30 p.m. in the Dayton Community Room, in recognition of there new official status as a “mission church” of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA), sometimes referred to as “the Covenanters” because of their roots in late 17th century Scotland. Rev. Dr. Richard E. Knodel, RPCNA pastor in SE Ohio (and formerly Reformed Presbyterian pastor/teacher/evangelist in Scotland, Orthodox Presbyterian Church pastor in Virginia, and Presbyterian Church in America pastor in Pennsylvania), will be preaching. The RPCNA denomination has existed in the U.S. since 1798, although it has deep roots in the Scottish Reformation. The church is Christ-centered, Bible-believing, and Reformed according to Scripture in doctrine, worship, and government.
