The Rhea County High School [RCHS] Eagle Anglers competed in the 2013 Tennessee High School State Fishing Championship on Saturday, June 1, at Nickajack Lake in Marion County.
Seventy-two boats and 144 high school anglers from all across the state competed for the title of state champion. Saxton Long and Triston Crowder from Lawrence County High School claimed top spot with five bass that weighed 15 pounds and four ounces.
