The Rhea County School Board Budget committee is prepared to present the full board with a $28 million 2013-14 budget without asking the county commission for any more funds, despite the fact that two new schools will be opening this fall. The new Rhea County High School is slated to open, as is Rhea Middle School in the old high school building, this fall.
