Ouster raises county employee benefits policy questions

The recent ouster of Theresa Snyder from the position of Rhea County Administrator of Elections has raised questions about the county’s employee benefits policy after election commissioners discussed vacation and compensatory time payouts to the former county official earlier this month.
After voting 4-1 to remove Snyder from her position, members of the Rhea County Election Commission entertained the idea of the payouts.
