Acts 29 Prayer Meeting — An Acts 29 Prayer Meeting is being held in the meeting room of the Dayton Coffee Shop each Thursday from 8 to 9 a.m.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Episcopal Church — Anyone interested in reestablishing an Episcopal Church presence in Dayton are asked to contact Charles Brown at cbmetcal@aol.com or call 240-925-0717.

City Church-Dayton — City Church, located at 375 Main St. in Dayton, will hold a Mother’s Day Out on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children ages three to five years.  For more information, call 413-8027.

Texas Grove Baptist Church  (3/17-22) — Texas Grove Baptist Church, located at 1699 Texas Grove Baptist Rd. will host a Revival beginning March 17 at 7 p.m. and continuing through March 22.  Brother Dewey Fisher of Covington, Ga. will be the guest speaker.

Open Door Fellowship (3/23) — Open Door Fellowship, located at 136 West Rhea Avenue in Spring City, will host a Chili Supper on Saturday, March 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. Dreams of Kings will provide live music. The cost is free and everyone is welcome.

First Christian Community Church (3/23-24)— First Christian Community Church, located at 392 Illinois Ave. in Dayton, will host a 25th anniversary celebration for Pastor Edward Charles Johnson titled “Don’t Give Up Now” on Saturday, March 23, beginning at 6 p.m. with a banquet at The Loft on Railroad St. in Dayton.  The Spiritual Highlights from Chattanooga will perform.  On Sunday, March 24, Rev. Walter “Chip” Jackson from Shiloh Baptist Church in Spring City will conduct the church’s morning worship service at 11 a.m. and Dr. T.L. Mims of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, Tenn. will close the celebration at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.  Tickets for the banquet are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.  Call 423-785-6577 for more information.

Lake Drive Baptist Church (3/24)— Lake Drive Baptist Church in Sale Creek, Tenn. will host a performance by the Bryan College Chamber Singers at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 24.  The 18-voice group will present a program containing a variety of classical, spiritual and gospel selections.  

Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church (3/30)— Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1550 Oak Hill Rd. in Dayton, will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, at 2 p.m. There will be prizes awarded for each age group.  Contact Justin at 619-8605 or Dustin at 582-6274 for more information.

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (4/6) — Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, located on Rhea County Highway in Evensville just north of the high school,  will hold a Blessing of the Bikes on Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. All bikes and their riders will be blessed for a safe year of riding.  Bicycles, motorcycles, wagons, tricycles, and etc. are welcome.  In case of rain, the blessing will be held on Saturday April 13 at 10 a.m.

Dayton Ministerial Association (3/31) — The Dayton Ministerial Association will sponsor their annual community-wide Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, March 31, at 7 a.m. in Point Park.  First Baptist Church Minister of Youth and Education Anthony McCully will be the featured speaker.   The public is invited to attend.

Mountain Cove Bluegrass (3/21) — McDonald’s in Dayton will host a singing on Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m.

The Couriers. (3/26) — Bimbo’s Restaurant in Dayton will host a singing on Tuesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m.

Men of Calvary (3/28) — McDonald’s in Dayton will host a singing on Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m.

Anthem Voices (4/1) — Senior Lighthouse Center in Spring City will host a gospel singing on Monday, April 1, at 7 p.m
