A Saturday fire that destroyed an Evensville storage building was likely caused by close proximity to an outdoor burn barrel, according to officials with the Rhea County Fire Department.

Rhea County Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief and Investigator Chuck Kinney said at around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, firefighters from Wolf Creek, Pine Grove, Spring City and Frazier responded to a report of a fire on Old Dixie Highway in Evensville.
