Greene trades Eagles for Owls

In today’s world, it is not uncommon for high school, college or pro football coaches to seek other opportunities whether they’ve had winning or losing programs.  After all, it’s ‘the nature of the beast’ in the business they’ve chosen and Rhea County High School [RCHS] is no exception to the rule.

On Thursday afternoon, RCHS Athletic Director Micah Ruehling announced that Golden Eagles’ head football coach Doug Greene had resigned, stating he was taking the defensive coordinator position at Ooltewah High School.
