Scopes Trial Festival returns

After a year hiatus, the Scopes Festival is scheduled for July 19-20 and tryouts are scheduled this month for the new Scopes Trial play, “Front Page News.”

Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, in the Rhea County Courthouse circuit court room between 2 and 4 p.m.
