State proposal maintains Rhea's judicial district

A proposed plan to reduce the state’s 31 judicial districts to 29 will not affect Rhea County’s 12th Judicial District after state officials unveiled the plan on Monday.

According to state officials, the proposed map causes minimal disruption to the current system affecting only 22 of Tennessee’s 95 counties.
