The First Baptist Church of Dayton’s childcare services on Thursday had the opportunity to meet with law enforcement officials checking car seats and get advice on how they fit a child and get a new car seat, if needed, thanks to a grant with the Governor’s Highway Safety Office [GHSO].
Representatives from the GHSO and Tennessee Highway Patrol [THP] troopers were on hand Thursday not give to punitive measures but rather provide information and equipment.
