The Dayton City Council approved a request from Dayton Police Chief Chris Sneed to participate in a program from gun maker Glock that would net the entire police force new weapons.
Sneed explained to the council that Glock was offering new weapons for $134, and officers have the option to buy the weapon from Glock if they wanted to keep it for personal use.
