RCHS turf and track facility a hit

With the spring sports’ season just around the corner, the Rhea County High School [RCHS] turf and track facility at Bill Horton Field and Eagle Stadium is proving to be beneficial to many teams, including the Rhea Middle School [RMS] track team.

On Wednesday, student-athletes from three different sports made good use of the facility at the same time.  Led by RCHS head track coach Steffan Holder and assistant coach Tommy Mitchell, the RCHS boys and girls track and field teams practiced, along with the boys and girls teams from RMS, which includes a roster of over 60 runners.
