The Rhea Central Elementary School [RCES] Lady Yellow Jackets’
volleyball team went into Monday’s game against Dayton City School [DCS] with hopes of avenging the
Feb. 7 setback to the Lady Sweatbees, but to no avail as DCS won the set in three games.
DCS
coach Kristin Green lauded her team’s determination to overcome the first game loss.
“After
the game one loss, the team played with a lot of determination in the second game,” Green
said. “They fought for it and played well as a team. It was a great team win.
Ashton and Ansley Hill did a good job serving for us, and Delaney Smith showed a lot of hustle with
some great digs.”
