Gospel Singings

Episcopal Church — Anyone interested in reestablishing an Episcopal Church presence in Dayton, are asked to contact Charles Brown at cbmetcal@aol.com or call 240-925-0717.

City Church-Dayton — City Church, located at 375 Main St. in Dayton, will hold a Mother’s Day Out on Tuesdays and Thursdays for children ages three to five years.  For more information, call 413-8027.

Immanuel Presbyterian Chapel of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church — Immanuel Presbyterian Chapel of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church will meet for worship each Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Dayton Community Room on Alabama Avenue in Dayton Immanuel Presbyterian Chapel is reformed according to scripture in doctrine, worship and government.  For more information. contact Kevin Clauson, elder-at-large, Presbytery of the Southeast Orthodox Presbyterian Church at 775-8852 or kclauson4864@bryan.edu.  (The chapel is not affiliated with Bryan College.)  Also visit Immanuel Presbyterian Chapel, OPC on Facebook.

Freedom Tribe Ministries at John’s Chapel — Freedom Tribe Ministries at John’s Chapel, located at 5929 Old Dixie Hwy. in Spring City, will hold a weekly gospel singing every Thursday at 7 p.m.

Watts Bar Church of God (3/1) — Watts Bar Church of God, located two miles east of Watts Bar Dam on Hwy. 68, will host a Chick & Fish Fry on Friday, March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. to benefit the Youth and Children’s Departments.   A choice of chicken or fish, baked beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, dessert and beverage will be served.  Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 12 years-old.  For more information or directions to the auction, call 334-9823.

Watts Bar Church of God (3/1) — Watts Bar Church of God, located two miles east of Watts Bar Dam on Hwy. 68, will host a special singing on Friday, March 1, beginning at 7 p.m. The Sale Creek Church of God Singers will be the featured singers.  For more information, call 334-9823.

Graysville Church of Christ (3/2) — Graysville Church of Christ will host their Eighth Annual Ladies Day, “Anchor in the Storm,” on Saturday, March 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ekklesia Bible Tabernacle (3/5) — Ekklesia Bible Tabernacle, located at 4832 Dayton Mtn. Hwy. Wolf Creek Baptist Church (3/10) — Wolf Creek Baptist Church will host Rahel Hirshenson Landrum of Jews for Jesus on Sunday, March 10, during the church’s 11 a.m. service.  Rahel will answer questions as she presents “Christ in the Passover.”   Pastor Paul Forgey invites all to attend.

Kindred Spirit Vocal Band (3/7) — McDonald’s in Dayton will host a singing on Thursday, March 7, at 7 p.m.

McRoys (3/9) — Bimbo’s Restaurant in Dayton will host a singing on Saturday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m.

Jim Ricketts and Crystle Elam (6/12) — Bimbo’s Restaurant in Dayton will host a singing on Tuesday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m.

New Liberty Boys (3/14) — McDonald’s in Dayton will host a singing on Thursday, March 14, at 7 p.m.

Gary West & Jerry Watkins (3/19) — Bimbo’s Restaurant in Dayton will host a singing on Tuesday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m.

Mountain Cove Bluegrass (3/21) — McDonald’s in Dayton will host a singing on Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m.
