County commission seeks downtown jail plans

After receiving a letter from state correction officials, the county executive urged members of the Rhea County Commission to move forward with solving the overcrowding problem at the Rhea County Jail.

The legislative body voted on Tuesday to order plans for a jail constructed in downtown Dayton.
