“What a night of excitement for our kids, program and fans,” said Rhea County High School (RCHS) Lady Eagles’ basketball coach Shane Johnston after two thrilling road victories by the Rhea squads over Cleveland on Tuesday. “This is a big win for our program and a night our kids will remember for a long time.”

According to the cheers and whispers of many Rhea fans after both contests, “a win over Cleveland is always good, but to win at Cleveland twice in the same night, is that much sweeter.”  The many loyal Eagle fans then referenced the thrilling 29-27 win over their longtime rival in the last game of the 2012 football season, which knocked Cleveland out of the playoffs.
