Lady Sweatbees advance to semi-finals

Baker has drained five 3-pointers and scored 21 points in two games at the TMSAA Regional Tournament on Saturday and Monday, where Baker and the Lady Sweatbees have won 41-31 and 25-23 in the first and second rounds to advance to the semi-final round. DCS will play on Friday, Feb. 8, 5:45 p.m., at Catlettsburg Middle School, in Sevierville, Tenn.

Out of 16 teams, the Dayton City School (DCS) Lady Sweatbees have advanced to the semifinal round of the TMSAA Regional Tournament in Sevierville with a 25-23 overtime win over the Caton’s Chapel Lady Hornets on Monday and improved their overall record to 23-3.

The Lady Sweatbees beat the Sullivan Middle Lady Pirates in the opening round on Saturday and won 41-31.
