Dayton voters could have the chance to vote on allowing package liquor sales within the city limits after election officials said on Friday that a petition was circulating to put the measure on the ballot.
Rhea County Administrator of Elections Theresa Snyder said in order for the referendum to be placed on the ballot for the April municipal elections, the petition must be turned in by Feb. 15.
