This
emotionally devastating portrait of hope is a memory of Saint Louis during the 1930s. Aspiring poet
Tom Wingfield (Brett Pearce) reluctantly works in a warehouse to support his overbearing mother
(Anita Hale) and debilitatingly shy sister, Laura (Kaitlyn Couch). Pushed by his mother, he
finds Laura a gentleman caller (Hunter Rodgers) to try to coax her from her fragile private world.
The performance is directed by Morgan Robbins and sponsored by Community National Bank
.
Tennessee Valley Theatre is a 501c(3) non-profit corporation. Tax deductible donations help
fund a wide variety of drama, music, and arts programs and workshops, year-round, for people of all
ages. TVT presents over 20 different shows and events each year.
