Eagle cagers sweep Soddy-Daisy

With three District 5-AAA games left, the Rhea County High School (RCHS) Lady Eagles’ basketball team has buckled down and won two district games in a row, with the most recent on Tuesday over the Soddy-Daisy Lady Trojans, 40-24.

The Lady Eagles completed a season sweep over Soddy-Daisy and improved to 16-6 overall and 5-4 in league play.  They are fourth place in the standings behind Bradley Central (18-2, 7-0), McMinn County (14-5, 7-2) and Cleveland (13-6, 5-3).
