A wintry-mix storm front rumbled through the area early Friday morning closing schools and making some roads slick but not causing many injuries, according to local officials.
“We had four or five cars slide off into a ditch, but none with injuries. I think we have been very fortunate so far,” Rhea County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy John Argo said.
