Rhea County’s trash could soon net the county budget an
additional $275,000 to $300,000 per year, according to county and state
officials.
Spearheaded by Rhea County Executive George Thacker, a new recycling program began
last week, and recycling bins were placed at the Morgantown Convenience Center, with additional bins
expected to be placed at convenience centers in Evensville, Frazier and Wolf Creek.
