In a makeup game and eighth grade night on Friday, Jan. 11, the Dayton City School (DCS) basketball teams hosted two very tough teams from Meigs Middle School. The Lady Sweatbees fell 30-23 and the Sweatbees lost 45-31.
Both Meigs’ squads are talented and are arguably some of the best teams in the area, according to DCS coaches Kristy Hurst and Lynn Lane.
