When faced with losing her job due to a layoff, Dale Sharpe turned to Rhea County adult education and is now on the path for a change of career.
Sharpe is a high school graduate but needed further training adult education offers to get admitted into a post-secondary school. She will be starting in the pharmacy technician program at Tennessee Technology Center at Athens, Tenn., in January.
