State Rep.-elect looks ahead to upcoming legislative session

As he prepares to assume office in January and looks forward to the upcoming legislative session, State Rep.-elect Ron Travis said on Thursday that he is looking forward to his first year as an elected official.

Travis will be sworn into office on Tuesday, Jan. 8, but said he has already met with key state government officials, such as Republican House Speaker Beth Harwell.
