For the first time all season, the Lady Eagles of Rhea County
High School were held under 50 points, which allowed the McMinn County Lady Cherokees to hand Rhea a
66-40 loss in Athens on Tuesday.
"They jumped on us quick, and we seemed to be out of sync
all night," said Lady Eagles' head coach Shane Johnston. "I hope this serves as a wake-up call
to our kids. We can experience success, but we must be committed to doing the right things for
32 minutes every night."
