Overcrowding at Frazier Elementary School could force rezoning in the coming years, county school officials said at a workshop on Saturday.
Director of Schools Jerry Levengood told the board that the current student population at Frazier is 360, and with a small fifth grade class leaving and a large kindergarten class projected for next school year, the population will be pushed to over 400.
“We are full at Frazier. Everyone is in a classroom, but not much more and we will be in crisis mode,” Levengood said.
