The Dayton City Council approved adding the Brookstone Heights real estate development in north Dayton to the city's sewer system at its regular monthly meeting on Monday.

The action came after the council last month reviewed a letter from water system engineer Roy Wauford that questioned the ability to add future customers to the sewer system once Brookstone was added.
