Saturday fire destroys 100-year-old S.C. home

Above, a 100-year-old home on West Rhea Avenue in Spring City burns on Saturday night. According to county fire officials, the house was destroyed but no one was injured in the blaze.

A Saturday night fire destroyed a nearly 100-year-old home on West Rhea Avenue in Spring City.

No one was at the house when the fire began, and no one was injured in the blaze, according to Rhea County Fire Department Investigator Chuck Kinney.
