MainStreet Dayton to hold annual Christmas parade

Downtown Dayton will be full of tails and tales on Saturday, Dec. 1, as MainStreet Dayton hosts its annual Horse and Carriage Christmas Parade and Christmas Critter Pageant.

According to Anna Tromanhauser, Executive Director of MainStreet Dayton, the streets around the Rhea County Courthouse will close at 1 p.m. as the  vendors which will be set up on the courthouse lawn will be open for business.

Market Street will close from Fourth Avenue to Alabama Avenue at 3:30 p.m. as the Horse and Carriage Parade prepares for its 4:30 p.m. start.
