The City of Dayton Council discussed the possibility of increasing capacity to serve potential new sewer customers at the north end of the city's utility service at the municipal body's regular monthly meeting on Monday.
The discussion stemmed from a letter from Roy Wauford, of J.R. Wauford and Company Consulting Engineers, discussing the effect adding customers due to a proposed real estate complex to the system that already services Rhea County High School, Rhea Medical Center and will host the new high school once it opens in 2013.
