A community Thanksgiving meal is being organized and those wishing to receive a meal, know about someone who needs a meal or would like to volunteer their time or make a donation contact the United Way of Rhea County at 775-5633 or email at cralph@rheaunitedway.org.

Following is a list of needs for the meal:

We will need about 10 to 15 people to help thaw turkeys. This takes several days and we just don't have the space with all of the other food that we do.
We will need to borrow about 10 turkey fryers and need operators on Wednesday afternoon.
We will need volunteers to help on Wednesday afternoon with prep.
We will need volunteers to help in the kitchen on Thursday.
We will need volunteers to help package meals on Thursday.
We will need volunteers to deliver meals on Thursday.
We will need volunteers to help with clean-up on Thursday.
