How sweet it is...St. Bridget Catholic Church makes candy for annual Christmas Bazaar
Parishioners at Saint Bridget Catholic Church make candy for the upcoming Christmas Bazaar to be held Saturday, Nov. 17, and Sunday, Nov. 18. Candies, baked goods, books and Christmas items will be available for sale both days.
Members of Saint Bridget's Council of Catholic Women (CCW) as well as a few of the church's male parishioners spent a whole day last week in the kitchen of their church creating a "solid seller" for their annual Christmas Bazaar - rock candy.
In all, a total of 75 pounds of the sweet treat was made that day.
