The Spring City Middle School boys' basketball team dropped a tough matchup at Rockwood on Monday, falling 37-28, leaving their record at 2-2 on the young season, while the Lady Bulldogs fell 41-6, dropping them to 0-4.

Spring City struggled early on to deal with Rockwood's aggressive press defense, committing several turnovers in a first quarter that left them outscored, 10-4. The bulldogs settled down in the second quarter, however, and managed to trim the deficit to three points at the break.
